Chair Message

On behalf of the Conference Planning Committee, I welcome you to the 2017 Professional Development Conference (PDC).

Our volunteer team has put together a truly inspirational, and educational program of learning, and we are thrilled to return to the historic WinSport venue at Canada Olympic Park for two days of networking, education and information sharing.

Our theme this year “Celebrating Milestones” was selected since 2017 is such an exciting milestone year for Canadians as we celebrate “Canada 150”. We have an incredible line-up of keynote speakers who will reflect on key milestones, events and projects of the past, as well as looking ahead to what milestones we may expect in the future from business, technology and leadership. Our program of top quality concurrent sessions will provide a range of educational topics across the PMI Talent Triangle with some fantastic insights into how changes in organizational behaviour, technology, tools and methodologies may shape the project management practice in the future.

Each year, we strive to deliver an improved program and conference experience based on the feedback from our attendees. This year we are focused on improving the program quality even further and you can expect every session to provide a ‘take away’ whether it’s a tool, technique or learning that you can apply in your career or daily work.

Whether you are have attended a PDC before, or will be a first time attendee, the learning and networking opportunities at this years conference will be outstanding and I encourage you to come and celebrate and be inspired by the milestones we could achieve in the future.

Thank you,
Jenny Noble
